My Nieces

Went to Chicago last Sunday to see my brother and his family. It was a gorgeous day. We went to the park and had a nice late lunch out on the patio in the backyard. I got to meet my new niece and spend time with the family. This is a picture of me, Lilja Aino, and Jana Aeva.

Announcing the birth of my niece....Jana Eeva. 7 pounds, 1 ounce, 20 inches long. After 23 long hours of labor, Mother and baby are doing fine!

My New Wheels!

Yes! I am a proud owner of a 1959 El Camino! I won it on ebay last night! I was sweating bullets and I am still sweating bullets. Can't wait to get it here and start analyzing all the things that need to be fixed! I am so excited! Our goal is to get it running and take it on the road to Billetproof.

My Dream Wheels

Ain't she a beauty. This is my ultimate dream car. The 1959 El Camino is just one of those odd cars that I can't get over. I am looking for the perfect buy, which I have my eyes set on. Hopefully it will work out. This will be my first project car and I am looking forward to it. I have much to learn, but when you see that baby rolling down the road.......you'll shake your head muttering Queen Bee.

Weather Tease

The weather is looking up for today, but it is suppose to go downhill by the end of the week. Had a great weekend! My lovely husband cooked me a 6 course dinner on Saturday evening. It was awesome! It included an appetizer, salad, soup, sorbet, main course of salmon with a cucumber sauce, and desert (chocolate!). Had to put this picture up. It reminds me that warmer weather is soon to come!

After the QDMA Banquet and winning an interesting lamp made out of antlers, we headed to Clyde's Side Door. It was packed! The Hugh Jorgan Luau Band was playing, and I think everyone had a great time!
